Regular Exercise Is a Natural Mood Enhancer

Ever noticed, how being out or shape of skipping a few days of exercise affects one’s mental outlook? When the body is exercised on a regular basis, a positive chemical reaction occurs in the body. Preliminary evidence shows exercise to benefit the affects of specific mood-enhancing neurotransmitters of the brain. These feel good chemicals referred to as endorphins release tension in the muscles, improving and individuals quality of sleep, reducing levels of the stress hormone referred to as cortisol. Additionally, it improved the body’s temperature. The chemical reaction of exercise improves the mental and physical state of the body as it eases the following symptoms: anxiety, anger, hopelessness, irritability, fatigue, sadness, stress and self-doubt.

For individuals who adhere to fitness regimen and still struggle with depression or anxiety, professional attention is highly recommended.
